Gray cast iron naturally resists weld spatter, does not form burrs on the surface, resists deformation, and once machined flat, it stays flat.

Clamping a Full 48" x 96" Table with Room to Spare

The Fireball 4.5' x 8.5' is our take on a 4'x8' table. Our approach is that you need a table to work with 4'x8' parts, so why not make it a little larger? At 102” long and 54” wide, the extra 6 inches along the length and width of the table makes it punch closer to a 5'x10'.

The Fireball 4.5' x 8.5' has 20% more top surface area than an actual 48" x 96" table.

The spacing of the holes means you can fixture a 4'x8' workpiece from all four sides without even brining the table’s side apron into play.

The side of the table is 8” tall and provides rigidity. It has three rows of holes machined in a 2” grid pattern for adding extensions or joining tables together.

Leg Options

We have three leg options to best suit your shop needs. This table requires 6 legs, if you buy the table on this page with the leg options, there is no need to order separate legs.

Standard Leg

Legs are 26” tall with +/- 1” adjustment range on the leveling pads. The table height is 8” inches, so with these legs you’ll have a table surface height of 34”.

Height Adjustable

These have a range of 22” to 36” with 1” increments and +/- 1” adjustment on the leveling pads. The table height is 8” inches, so with these legs you’ll have a table surface height of 30-44” height.

Height Adjustable + Caster

Use these legs for a table that’s easy to maneuver around without a crane or forklift. These have a range of 22” to 30” with 1” increments and +/- 1” adjustment on the leveling pads. The table height is 8” inches, so with these legs you’ll have a table surface height of 30” to 38”.

Factory Seconds

Producing large castings with perfect surfaces is a difficult task. The larger the surface area, the more likely there is to be some air pockets or voids during the casting process that only show up after machining.

Our castings are optimized to produce a high quality top surface, but even a typical table will often have some small imperfections on the top or side of the machined surfaces.

When the tables experience a higher number or severity of surface defects we designate them as factory seconds and sell them at a discounted price.

Customers who order factory seconds will receive photographs of the table before shipping.
