Feb. 13, 2025

I. Purpose

To regulate employee behavior, achieve standardized operation, and ensure personal and equipment safety.

II. Scope

Applicable to drilling rig operation and maintenance.

III. Risk identification

Fire, burns, falls from heights, object strikes, collapses, mechanical injuries, dust, noise

IV. Protective equipment

Safety helmets, labor protection clothing, safety shoes, gloves, earplugs, dust masks

V. Operation procedures

(1) Before starting

1. Before working, the drill rig must be inspected, mainly including engine oil, hydraulic oil, air compressor oil, pneumatic tool oil, and coolant. If it is insufficient, add it. At the same time, check whether other assemblies have oil leakage, damage, etc. Do not start the machine with faults.

2. After turning on the power, check whether the lights, horns, wipers, indicator instruments, emergency stop switches, fault display lights and alarm buzzers are normal and intact. 2) During operation

1. After starting, observe whether all instruments are working normally, such as whether the oil pressure, water temperature, current and voltage are within the specified range, and check the hydraulic system and air supply system.

2. The machine must idle for 3-5 minutes when starting or stopping. It is forbidden to run at full load immediately after starting. The seat belt must be fastened before the equipment is driven.

3. The engine start time shall not exceed 30 seconds each time, and the interval between two starts shall not be less than 2 minutes;

4. The engine shall not idle for more than 5 minutes, and the high-speed engine shall not be suddenly turned off.

5. During driving or operation, it is strictly forbidden to sit or stand anywhere on the drilling rig except outside the cab.

6. Before operation, the rock formation at the drilling location must be carefully checked to ensure stability and reliability. The distance between the crawler and the slope of the step shall not be less than 3 meters to avoid landslides.

7. Keep a record of the drilling situation. If you encounter a cave, record the location and inform the mining technicians. Make on-site markings and warnings. Pay attention to the drill being stuck and the drill rod falling when drilling. If you encounter a large cave, evacuate the dangerous area immediately and report.

8. Before moving the drilling rig, carefully observe the terrain to ensure that there are no large obstacles on the moving route, and there are no dangerous factors such as cracks and caves on the ground; the drilling rig should not be moved on a slope with a slope exceeding 15 degrees; when moving, the driver should honk the horn first, and no one is allowed to be in front of or behind the crawler. If the slope exceeds 15 degrees, the drill frame should be lowered and commanded by a special person. Walk slowly, keep the center of gravity stable on the steep slope, and take anti-overturning measures. It should not walk on 90-degree sharp turns or soft ground.

9. The Jinke drilling rig is prohibited from staying on the ramp for a long time; it is prohibited to walk long distances at night. When raising and lowering the drilling rig, non-operating personnel are prohibited from staying in the dangerous range; operations are prohibited in severe weather such as thunderstorms and gale, and the drilling rig should be leveled and the main power switch should be turned off.

10. When the drilling rig is operating, the stability of the rock formation should be checked, and cross-operation of the drilling rig is prohibited. When the equipment is stable, the distance between the jack (or the grounded part) and the top line of the slope should not be less than 2.5m; any part of the equipment cannot exceed the top line of the slope; when drilling the first row of holes, the angle between the center axis of the drilling rig and the top line of the step slope should not be less than 45°.

11. It is strictly forbidden to open the water tank cover under high temperature.

(3) After operation and maintenance

1. When the drilling rig equipment is stopped, it should maintain a safe distance of more than 20 meters from the slope of the step and try to stop at a lower place.

2. After the operation, make sure the operating handle is in the neutral position, turn off the engine, check around the equipment to see if there is any oil or water leakage, and make a record; then pull out the ignition key, disconnect the battery switch, and lock the car door.

3. Strictly abide by the maintenance regulations and lubrication system, and regularly inspect, maintain and lubricate the equipment.

6 Emergency measures

1. During operation, if the engine, electrical appliances, etc. catch fire, stop the vehicle immediately, turn off the engine, quickly cut off the power, use dry powder fire extinguishers and other fire-fighting facilities to extinguish the fire, and report to the superior.

2. In case of burns, if the burn is small, immediately rinse with plenty of clean water for at least 30 minutes, apply burn ointment and send to hospital for treatment.

3. In case of other personal and equipment accidents, report immediately and carry out self-rescue and rescue.
